Return & Refund Policy
Overview
At YEM, we aim to support professional buyers by handling returns and refunds in a clear and structured manner.
If you believe a purchased product does not meet your order requirements, please review the policy below to understand the applicable conditions and procedures.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
The product must be unused and in the same condition as received
The product must be returned in its original packaging
Proof of purchase must be provided (such as an order confirmation or invoice)
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Restocking & Handling Fees
For returns approved by YEM, a restocking and handling fee may apply.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this fee is typically up to 20% of the order value and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Made-to-Order (MTO) / Customized Products
Made-to-order (MTO) or customized products are generally non-returnable.
Exceptions may apply only in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects or workmanship issues.
If you believe an MTO product is defective, please contact us with supporting documentation for evaluation.
Promotional or Complimentary Items
Any complimentary or promotional items included with an order are subject to return at YEM’s discretion.
Please contact us in advance for clarification.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be arranged for items that are confirmed to be defective or damaged upon receipt.
To request an exchange for the same item, please contact us by email and provide relevant order and product details.
All exchange requests are subject to product availability and verification.
Damaged Shipments
If you receive a shipment that appears damaged, please follow these steps:
Note the damage upon delivery, if possible
Provide clear photo evidence, including:
The product
Inner and outer packaging
Shipping label
Any visible damage or missing items
This information helps us assess the situation and coordinate with the carrier if necessary.
Inspection & Testing Requirements
Certain components (such as electronic parts or drive units) may require inspection or testing before a replacement or refund can be approved.
If a replacement is requested prior to test completion, the buyer may be required to prepay the replacement item and shipping costs.
A refund may be issued only after testing confirms a qualifying defect.
Return Shipping
All returns must be shipped using a trackable logistics service.
Unless the return is due to a confirmed product defect or shipping error by YEM, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable.
For high-value items, we recommend using insured shipping to reduce the risk of loss or damage during transit.
Refunds
Refunds are processed after the returned goods are received and inspected.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, subject to applicable deductions such as restocking or handling fees.
Processing times may vary depending on payment provider and financial institution.

Contact your credit card provider, as posting times may vary
Contact your bank for additional processing information
Important Notes & Limitations
Returned items must remain unused and undamaged to qualify for a full refund
Items damaged due to improper installation or handling may not be eligible for full refund
In such cases, goods may be returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense
Shipping costs are not refundable unless the issue is confirmed to be caused by YEM
YEM does not assume responsibility for missing, damaged, or incorrect items reported more than 30 days after delivery, regardless of cause.
Claims for lost or stolen shipments must be submitted directly to the carrier.
Buyer Responsibility for Product Selection
If insufficient or incorrect machine information is provided prior to shipment
(e.g. incorrect model, part number, dimensions, or photos), YEM will not cover return shipping costs.
In such cases:
The buyer is responsible for return shipping
A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply
Returns due to buyer error or order cancellation after shipment may also be subject to similar restocking fees.
Service Cost Disclaimer
YEM does not reimburse third-party labor costs, diagnostic fees, or consultation charges under any circumstances.
